This is a lesson in children. I spend a LOT of time planning for my lessons. Thinking of best practices- are all learning styles accounted for, is the lesson scaffolded, have I redefined the use of technology?
This lesson was a bit of fun. We made paper watches and wrote the time on the back. A simple as that. I then made up a little song. Not brain surgery at all – but they loved it!! The song (catchy to the point of annoying) has stuck and the outcome – learning how to read the time in German has been met. Sometimes the simple things really are the best!!!
