Reise

Big and small is a concept I can definitely tick off for German! Today we read ‘The Smartest Giant in Town’ , the children were very engaged. We retold the story using actual items of clothing, then re- read the story, the children were amazing with their language recall. 

Finally we created our own giants, I use a lot of craft as it is engaging and involves the children creating something – when you create something it makes a ‘signpost’ in your brain and assists recall.

Finally we revised the features of the face playing a little magnet game – enjoyed by all.
